I read not too long ago that some physicists or some other scientific types were tossing around the idea that existence, as we know it, could all be a massively sophisticated computer simulation. Something like that movie “The Matrix,” I suppose. To most of us that sounds ridiculous, I know. But lately, I’m beginning to think this reality is insane enough to actually be some kind of screwed up simulation.
The primary focus of this article will be guns. That issue is really starting to heat up these days (again), and there’s quite a divide between those who believe citizens have the right to own and carry guns to protect themselves and those who do not. As you may already know, I am firmly seated on the pro-gun side of the aisle, but I’m not going to approach this issue the way you might suspect. I’m not going to get into statistics or the Constitution or any of the usual arguments in favor of the right to bear arms. It’s all been said a million times and it won’t sway those that are in the anti-gun camp even a little.
I’ve done my share of arguing in favor of gun ownership — an issue I have been pretty passionate about since the early 1990’s when I began to finally see this world for what it really is. This may be my last argument on this topic because I’ve simply got nothing else to say about it after this. That will make more sense after my next post.
OK, so here’s where we get to the “stupid people” part. Listen up if you’re one of those anti-gun nitwits.
Here’s the key thing you have to realize: The key people pushing for gun control don’t really want gun control for the same reasons you do. By key people, I mean those that have the resources or positions of power to actually make a difference in the world. People like former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, politicians, Hollywood actors, musicians and others who happen to have lots of money.
You cannot possibly believe that these key people are in favor of gun control because they want to stop innocent nobody’s like you and me, or a classroom full of little kids from getting injured or killed. You must realize that these people in positions of power (with the exception of a few naïve, well-meaning entertainment industry types) do not care about anyone but themselves. The majority of them are psychopaths who have just two goals in life: More money and more power.
Take a moment to reflect on all the wars and scandals that we have seen throughout history. What’s happening in Iraq right now is a perfect example. How many of our military people had to die and how many innocent civilians were killed in W’s little war? Speaking of W, don’t make the mistake of painting me with the “conservative” or “right wing” brush because I don’t identify with any mainstream group. This whole phony Republican-Democrat or Liberal-Conservative game they have fooled so many of you into believing is just more proof of how stupid so many people are.
Getting back to our illustrious leaders, the situation in Iraq is deteriorating rapidly as I write this. Good old W should have rang me up before he decided to go after Saddam because what’s happening now is exactly what I expected would happen after the “coalition” forces pulled out of the country. Were you stupid enough to believe that we could send our forces in there and put a permanent end to the violence between groups of fanatics that have been killing each other for hundreds or thousands of years?
You and I and the rest of the great unwashed masses are simply a means to an end to those who are running the show. They’ll happily send you and yours over to fight and die for causes that are intended to benefit themselves alone. It’s unfortunate that so many well-intentioned people believe that our military people are fighting and dying to “protect our freedoms.” That probably hasn’t been true since the end of the Second World War, and to tell you the truth, I even have some reservations about that.
As rank-and-file peasants, we don’t even know a fraction of what really goes on behind the scenes. Just a quick peek behind the curtain would probably be enough to make you shit your pants! We peons going around believing we are truly informed regarding world events has to be one of the biggest jokes in human history. I like to compare it to peering through a peephole in a doorway that leads out to a bustling city inhabited by millions. You won’t see much of what’s really going on in that city from that vantage point now, will you?
You see, in many ways we really are living inside a grand simulation. We are just the hapless pawns that the people with real power move around to suit their agenda. If you can’t see the big picture by now, there’s really not a lot myself or anyone else can do for you. You’re just going to have to wait until things get bad enough before you finally understand, and by then it will be too late.
You might be wondering what this all has to do with guns, particularly if you are as stupid as I know so many people are. Well, our “leaders” never take on something big unless it will benefit them. In this case, it’s more gun control they want because they don’t like peons who are armed. It makes it a lot more difficult to think about pushing their boots that much harder into the backs of our necks. Look around you. There are things happening today that have never happened in the history of this country. We’ve got “Homeland Security” now, the TSA and the “Patriot Act,” which is really anything but. The attacks of 9/11 were actually a big help for those who wanted to clamp things down a bit tighter and whittle away a bit more at our freedoms. And really, what’s a few thousand dead people compared to the millions who have died in their wars? That’s sarcasm, in case you didn’t catch on.
Do you actually believe that Barack Obama, George Bush (both of them!), Hillary Clinton, Michael Bloomberg or Dick Cheney care if school kids get gunned down? Do you think they care about the victims of violent crime? These are the people that give the orders that result in suffering and death beyond anything most of us have ever imagined. How many died in Vietnam? Iraq? Afghanistan? All because the ones giving the orders are beholden to the super-rich that control the world’s money supply. Are you really too stupid to realize that? Does Obama or any of the others care any more about children dying here in the U.S. than they do about the children who are dying in wars and drone strikes that are a direct result of their orders? Are the lives of children on the other side of the world worth less then those here in America? Does it make sense to think they could be blowing little kids up on the other side of the world while they tee off on the gold course and then cry about children who die in these bizarre school shootings here at home?
Take off your blinders. Stop swallowing this left-right, two-party bullshit they have been feeding you. They are all evil, and they have tricked so many of you into believing that they care about truth, freedom, fairness, and humanity, for the love of God! Wake the Hell up!
Yes, they want the guns alright, but not for the reasons they say. It’s so sad to see so many people just swallow the shit they feed them so they can just wipe it from the corner of their mouths, smile, and go back to their shitty jobs, televised sports or liquor bottle.
For those who match that description: Try a little dose of the truth for a change. You may not like it very much, but the world might just smell a little better to you once you pull your head out of your ass.
