“Dolos,” for those unfamiliar with this lesser-known characters from Greek Mythology, was someone known to be a liar and trickster. Not unlike so many people we see in positions of power and influence today. That main focus of this platform is exposing lies since it seems to me that we are all being exposed to more of them than I can ever recall in my lifetime. There will be other topics covered as well, depending on what’s got my attention at any given time.
This is my platform. A platform that I control and allows me to express myself the way I want without holding back to do “terms and conditions” and whatnot. As a result, I feel I have more freedom here to express thoughts that I might not be permitted to include on platforms owned by others.
There will also be posts here that could be considered more “classic” than most of the other content. I had written on a few other platforms over the years and decided that it would be better to consolidate all of my content here. That is why some content will display dates that go back quite a few years. Those are the articles I have relocated here from other platforms. An interesting side effect of that process was discovering that some of my positions have evolved since I wrote those older articles. I don’t think my positions have changed drastically, but I do feel somewhat differently about some issues.
