Guess what, boys and girls? We don’t have to worry about monkeypox any more! Isn’t that great news? How wonderful is it that we do not have to live in fear of that insidious, deadly virus any longer?
I bet you are wondering what happened to monkeypox and you would have good reason to considering that I have just declared that it is no longer a concern. And especially considering the current atmosphere that features our most prominent and respected “experts” working hard to gin up fear over a virus once again.
While it is true that we should no longer have to live in fear of monkeypox, that isn’t because that particular virus has been vanquished by our heroic researchers, scientists, doctors and the spectacularly heroic and saintly pharmaceutical companies. No, it’s a much less dramatic tale. It is simply because the name of the virus has been changed.
Surely you have noticed the efforts by the media to move us all away from using the word “monkeypox” in favor of the new, improved, kinder and gentler “mpox.” Believe it or not, the name was changed because it “plays into racist stereotypes about Black and African people.” By that logic, I suppose we should not be using the word “monkey” at all, right? Should we not come up with a completely new name for that species? Perhaps “dark-pigmented, cuddly and adorable climbing primate” would suffice?
But hold on a second! Not all monkeys sport a dark-colored coat so that may not work so well after all. Consider the Golden Lion Tamarin Monkey. This species does not look very dark at all. So perhaps we do not have to concern ourselves with changing the name of these little critters.
As you have probably noticed recently, the media has been in full-blown “promote mpox” mode in order to gently move us away from using the word “monkeypox.” They have received their marching orders from their overlords and are dutifully carrying them out.
On our local news broadcast here in South Carolina, they really tried driving the message home recently with a graphic on the screen to show us the old name and the new name side-by-side. I half-expected them to follow that up with an announcement that we were free to go out for recess.
There is a very good reason for this decision to change the name of monkeypox and as always, it has nothing to do with concern for people who happen to have a genetic characteristic that results in their having dark skin.
It should be obvious to anyone that using the word “monkey” should not reflect on those people in any way and I suspect that, with the exception of some very ignorant individuals, people would not be making any connections like that at all when they hear about this virus we all all supposed to be afraid of now.
Decisions that come down from on high never have anything to do with the welfare of the general public and always have everything to do with furthering a narrative that is part of a larger effort to degrade all of us. You know, the “little people” that live in places like “flyover country” as well as other similar areas that are infested with “deplorables” and other undesirable human creatures that should probably all be dead.
And I’m sorry to say (perhaps not) that even those who do not consider themselves “deplorables” because they happen to align themselves with a particular political party are very much included in that group. They just do not realize it. Lenin’s “useful idiots” are alive and well and living among us in frightening abundance.
I have become convinced fairly recently that the root of all this “woke” insanity we are witnessing in our society is Communism. Yes, I am serious. I realize that word has an antiquated feel to it and it may conjure images of Joseph McCarthy for those of us advanced in years enough to remember that or perhaps even for some younger folks who have devoted some time to studying history. Considering what is going on today, I believe Senator McCarthy was right and that little has changed since the 1950s when he was trying to draw attention to the presence of Communists infiltrating our government.
Surely there are some of you laughing right now as you read this. “Communists in our government, give me a break!” Surely this is far-right lunacy!
It may seem less so when you accept the fact that we have a candidate running for president of the United States whose father was a bona fide Marxist. I should not have to tell you which candidate that is but in case you need a hint, it is not Donald Trump and it is not Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
For those that are having difficulty believing this, one only has to look at her record. Delving into that is not the purpose of this article and I have already digressed enough but when you realize she was acknowledged as being to the left of Bernie Sanders, I think that’s a pretty good validation of her Marxist credentials.
This brings us to why the ruling class has decided that monkeypox should have its name changed to mpox. It is not because they fear that it will stir up racial division. It’s because they want to stir up racial division. It is right in line with all the other efforts present in the woke agenda and it always has been.
The Marxists have been working for decades to divide this country with the idea that it could eventually become so divided that it will fall. And we are closer to that now than at any other time in history I am able to remember.
If things fall apart and the country descends into chaos, the Marxists will be ready with their plans to “fix” things and return us to peace “normalcy.” Unfortunately, their version of normalcy aligns with every other Communist regime in the world where top party officials live like kings in the lap of luxury while the rest of us are all “equal.” As in equally destitute, hopeless and miserable (see North Korea and Venezuela).
This is all obvious to anyone who takes the time to study history a little. Unfortunately, it seems that the majority of the world’s fairly affluent population is occupying their time with celebrity obsession, sports obsession, fashion obsession, junk food obsession and other not-so-worthy pursuits. As a result, what’s going on in the world seems “normal” to them and they see no cause for alarm. These are people that actually believe that the evening news is telling them the truth.
I was a little surprised to learn that the intention to change the name of monkeypox goes back to at least 2022. So why have they decided that now is the time to shout it from the rooftops? Could it be because they are gearing up to promote it as the next Covid just before the election?
Left alone, a monkeypox pandemic, whether genuine or engineered like Covid, would not be a racial issue for people of any skin color. Surely, there is an extraordinarily ignorant minority segment of the population that would derive some low-IQ amusement from making those types of connections but that is unavoidable no matter what names are changed. We also have murderers, rapists and pedophiles in our midst that cannot be eradicated by way of name changes.
Marxists and their ilk are absolute masters where mass manipulation is concerned. They know what to say in order to sway large segments of the population in any given direction and sadly, the lack of critical thinking skills that’s so obvious among certain segments of the human population makes their task far easier than it should be.
If I could convince all these vulnerable people of one thing, it would be this: When you hear the words of ruling class figures like the majority of politicians and billionaires, what they are saying and doing is always for their benefit and their benefit alone.
They are clever and conniving creatures that always strive to make it look as if their plans will benefit all of us. Their initiatives are often claimed to be for “your safety” or to save “our democracy.” An easy way to understand their true intent is to simply turn their words around and assume that what they really want to accomplish is the opposite of what they say publicly. In nearly all instances, that will reveal the truth of the matter.
My goal in writing this is a simple one. I just want people to understand that efforts like this monkeypox name change have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with trying to reduce inequality and racism and actually has the intent of making racial divisions far worse.
Racism or inequality or at least the notion that those things are occurring far more frequently than they actually are make for effective but well-known tactics that Marxists employ with the intent of tearing this country apart in order to usher in their long sought-after fantasy of a Marxist United States of America.
As a side note, I tend to use the terms “Communist” and “Marxist” to describe the forces currently aligned against freedom and liberty in this country and around the world. I am fully aware that those terms may not be entirely appropriate or accurate. The reality of the situation suggests that we may be dealing with some hybrid movement that embraces key characteristics of Marxism and fascism and perhaps other philosophies I am unfamiliar with.
However, as we muddle over what their movement should be called, what we really need to remember is that the success of their movement means power, control and wealth for them and misery, suffering and destitution for the rest of us. They must not be allowed to succeed.
