Just over the past week or two I’ve noticed that some new commercials have started to show up on TV. They’re pretty short and show some smiling man or woman walking through what appears to be a corn field. What’s the main message of these new advertisements?
High fructose corn syrup is just fine for you! Now that consumers have begun to wake up regarding the dangers of this nasty shit, the big-money industry scumbags that are making fortunes off of their processed food crap that they put this stuff in must be feeling threatened. Not only is this high fructose poison responsible for the soaring rates of obesity, diabetes and other health problems (technically, it’s the people that decide to consume the stuff who are responsible, but you know what I mean) let’s not forget that somewhere between 70% and 90% of all corn used in processed foods these days is genetically modified and the geniuses that came up with that literally do not know what the hell that’s doing to people!
It’s pretty damn clear that consumers choosing to avoid their high fructose poison is beginning to worry the corrupt food industry in this country. Why else would they be paying for deceptive advertising that claims that “sugar is sugar” and that “your body does not know the difference between high fructose corn syrup and cane sugar.” What a bunch of sick lying scum!
